Starpharma Sp. z o.o. is a modern Polish pharmaceutical company that was founded in 2010. It manufactures OTC medications, medical devices, medicinal products, dietary supplements, cosmetics, and functional confectionery. The company operates both in Poland and abroad, supplying products to more than 40 countries all over the world.

Lesznowola

The challenge: 

Adapting the Starpharma facility in Lesznowola and the surrounding area for the purpose of modern pharmaceutical production technologies that are GMP-compliant.  

In order to meet the client’s requirements, it is necessary to carry out integrated construction, sanitary, electrical, and pharmaceutical works.

The solution: 

The project was carried out by Dalkia Polska Solutions, which expanded and redeveloped the existing facility and installed new systems, including a gas system and an electrical system, and developed the surrounding area.

Sanitary, electrical, and pharmaceutical works were carried out.

Energy consumption has been optimized thanks to a new electrical system, advanced LED lighting, and the implementation of a BMS system to manage heating and ventilation. Energy efficiency has been improved, increasing production capacity. All of this has lead to a comprehensive transformation of the facility, which now meets the highest requirements in terms of GMP-compliant manufacture of pharmaceuticals.

  • Adaptation of the manufacturing conditions to the increasing quality requirements for production rooms and equipment. 
  • Reduced demand for energy used to heat the building and water, thanks to e.g. a new heating system, including a source of heat and a central heating system.
