or Virtual Energy Management System, is a system that optimises energy consumption in buildings by intelligently adjusting and monitoring the operating parameters of building systems (heating, ventilation, air conditioning and others). Most buildings and their installations are based on design assumptions that take into account a factor of one hundred percent technological utilisation. They are designed for maximum occupancy. Such systems most often operate at their nominal capacity, regardless of facility usage over time. Having data on the occupancy of the facility, we control selected installations. We use operating algorithms developed by us which allow to maintain the set parameters of the facility while significantly reducing the operating time of the equipment We reduce losses and thus generate savings and save the environment.
VEMS is a solution for office buildings, big-box retailers, cinemas, entertainment centres, conference facilities, trade shows and warehouses. It will pay off for clients with facilities with varying technology loads on a daily and weekly basis, and for real estate fund owners with facilities with different building systems in their portfolio.
The implementation itself is not complicated and requires minimum commitment. The integration of different infrastructure systems, different BMS, makes the process smooth not only at the installation stage but also throughout the entire period of use. We strive to make all the tools we use intuitive to use. However, the benefits of such solutions usually exceed expectations. To begin with, what is the main motivator for implementing such changes: avoiding excessive spending. Proper energy efficiency management allows for significant savings and portfolio control. As well as the tangible material benefit, the environmental benefits are also important. VEMS provides a reduction in carbon footprint and CO2 emissions. Any change for positive change in the context of the planet is welcome, but also increasingly legally enforced by various administrative entities.
